FAWNA releases second single, ‘Energy’ off sophomore EP Vol.2. With ‘Energy’, FAWNA pulls back the curtain, shifting from her familiar sound to deliver an empowered response to the energy vampires that’ve tried – and failed – to drain her. Blending bold production with sharp lyricism, this track introduces a raw, newfound ferocity to her upcoming EP Vol. 2.
Candid, unapologetic, and packed with spiritual strength, ‘Energy’ is a fiery anthem of
autonomy – encouraging listeners to reclaim their power and “leave the petty for the
weak.”
This single follows up the release of lead single ‘Nola’ that came out October 24th featuring Ero Sin and producer Cobrayama. The track is a compelling exploration of life’s uncertainties and the power of trusting in the universe. On it, FAWNA’s vulnerability shines, transforming her sensitivity into strength, as she delivers a deeply personal message of self-acceptance and resilience.
Vol. 2, coming out November 22, will be FAWNA’s second studio EP, and the highly-anticipated sequel to her wave making debut project, Vol. I. Picking up where its predecessor left off, Vol. 2 delves deeper into themes of renewed self-belief and reclamation of spirit. Shaped by the loss of her parents and a series of toxic relationships, the project reflects a powerful reclamation of strength forged through hardship and introspection.

FAWNA is the solo project of Canadian singer-songwriter Jenna DeaglePotter, blending R&B, Trip-Hop, and Electronica to create a dynamic, genrebending sound. Her music delves into themes of vulnerability, empowerment, and self-discovery, driven by infectious beats and raw, emotional storytelling.
Born from the indie scene in Halifax, Jenna took her artistry to new heights in Montreal in 2014, merging her passion for music and visual art. Her debut EP, Vol. 1 (2016), introduced her unique sound with her breakout single “Take It or Leave It.”
In 2019, FAWNA teamed up with producer Cobrayama for the CLEAR EP, showcasing her versatility as an artist. FAWNA has since shared stages with international talent at Ottawa Bluesfest, Future Forest Festival, and The Commodore Ballroom, captivating audiences with her powerful
performances. With her new EP, Vol. 2, set to release on November 22nd and a 2025 tour on the horizon, FAWNA is ready to make waves.
